Shakira and Piqué Debut New Baby
Colombian singer Shakira and her partner Gerald Piqué, who plays for FC Barcelona one of the world’s best professional soccer teams, released the first photograph of their new baby boy. Shakira posted a photo of Piqué, 25, holding the baby and kissing his cheek.
The couple named their newborn Milan and the photo was posted on the UNICEF page of Shakira Monday, with her asking readers to help donate to the agency operated by the United Nations for children.
On Twitter Shakira wrote that everyone should visit her UNICEF page to view the first photo of her two angels and to help babies that are underprivileged. Then when she added the photo she wrote meet our son Milan in both English and Spanish.
Milan was born on January 22 in Barcelona to the FC Barcelona star and to one of UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador who is 36 years of age. She will soon become one of the mentors on The Voice on NBC. Prior to this photo, Shakira had only teased her fans by uploading a photo of her new son wearing sneakers custom made by Nike, just after his birth.
As part of the celebration of Milan’s birth, who is the couple’s their first child, the two urged all their fans to give money to their global baby shower that is online in order to benefit UNICEF. When a donation has been made, each donor will receive a thank you that is personally prepared by both Piqué and Shakira.
