‘Sherlock’ Season 4: It Will Be Darker, Showing Insight On Characters Family Issues

The all-time favorite detective series, “Sherlock’s” Season 4 is in the process of hitting the floor soon and many updates are doing rounds related to it. The most interesting update the upcoming season will be different from the past 3 seasons not in case of detective’s breathtaking case solving traits but due to the add-on of family issues and seriousness into it. Read on.

As per rumors, the fourth season will be darker in nature as it place light majorly on family issues and increase the seriousness element on the BBC’s “Sherlock.” To bring that effect into place, the makers have decided for a 90 minutes mini-series screening for the audience. That special episode will definitely going to change the setting of the entire fourth season as different and unknown side of some of the favorite characters’ including Sherlock and Dr. Watson will be seen by the detective series followers.

When asked by Entertainment Weekly about the new element in the fourth part, Steven Moffat said, “It will be challenging place to go. We always start with a re-introduction that builds toward a darker climax – we might just be going darker [from the outset]. We got a very, very good set of ideas, We’re going to try to take it somewhere we’ve never been before – and I don’t mean outer space.”

If we talk about relationships then the main focus of the upcoming series is going to be the relation of Holmes with his father. As per rumors, everything related with the two will be discussed. The reason behind the distance between the two will be showcased which result in letting people know more about the personality of their detective hero.

Set during the Victorian Era, the mini-series will showcase characters’ sidelining their modern side and totally following Victorian mannerism.

“They’re the same people, seen through the prism of a different time and fitting in to a different society. I would say this Sherlock is a little more polished, and he operates like a Victorian gentleman instead of a posh, rude man, which he does in the modern too.” Moffat told IGN.

So, though new elements will be introduced in the show but depth and emotional aspects are also guaranteed. How our hero will act and what other things will happen in his life are few questions which come in mind immediately when we heard about the coming of the series’s fourth season. With the hope of another highly entertaining series, let us wish the entire crew all the best.

“Sherlock” Season 4 will come in 2017.
