Previous films of the “Mission: Impossible” series have been released as far away as by four years from each other. However, according to vcpost.com, Cruise made a statement last month in “The Daily Show” to start working on the sixth instalment without wasting much time.
During an interview with Jon Stewart while doing promotion for “Rogue Nation,” the actor said that they will start to make the blue print for the next movie from now. And, it is quite likely that the shooting for the movie will start by next summer.
Under the reins of different directors, this action thriller movie has had only one face till now and that is Tom Cruise. It seems that the franchise will come up with another instalment and many people are of the belief that Christopher McQuarrie, director of “M: I 5” will be out of the equation.
According to screenrant.com, the director gave the hint that they are in talks to come up with a sixth movie. However, as per him, it will be better to have a new person to be controlling from the top.
What makes this action series different and interesting all the time is the fact that there is a different director who is controlling the things in the latest flick, and this is what people love about this movie.
One should bear in mind that making these movies is not a child’s play and the task gets tougher with every next project they undertake. As he watched Tom Cruise doing that stunt at A400, he was saying to himself that he feels sorry for the director who will make the next movie.
Till date, all the movies of “Mission: Impossible” franchise have pocketed more than 2 billion dollars worldwide box office sales.
