‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 3: Abbie And Daniel To Be In Love? The Upcoming Season To Have More Fun
The first season of FOX’s “Sleepy Hollow” was a good hit and viewers truly loved it, and it was expected that its second season would also inscribe the similar record. But it (“Sleepy Hollow” season 2) ended up with a gloomy and disappointed tone with the deaths of two characters – Katrina (the wife of Ichabod) and their son, Henry. While reviving the third season, the new showrunner, “The Glades’” Clifton Campbell tried to alter the storyline of “Sleepy Hollow” with the introduction of some fun to give the viewers a different experience.
“What we asked for [in Season 3] was a bit of a return to the storytelling model of the first season — a bit more of the fun instead of such a deep mythology that got a little bit dense,” Dana Walden, CEO of FOX, said at Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour in Beverly Hills, reported The Christian Post.
Many fans and viewers of “Sleepy Hollow” believe that a good time has come for initiating a romantic relationship for Ichabod and Abbie as Katrina is out of the way. While elucidating some facts surrounding Abbie and her new boss Daniel with TVLine, the showrunner Campbell echoed that the two might have a special relationship but they could confront challenges while working together mainly for their past.
Campbell also elaborated that there would not be any “Headless” this year that would help them to experiment more with the show. Hence, the show would have very less “thick and foggy” mythological concepts. On the other hand, the newly joined stars like “The Twilight Saga’s” Nikki Reed, “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’s” Shannyn Sossamon, and “Kill Your Darlings’” Zach Appelman will play the characters of Betsy Ross, Pandora and Joe Corbin, respectively. It is said that Abbie and her sister, Jenny is going to have a strong relationship in the upcoming season 3 of “Sleepy Hollow.” Jenny and Joe will create a team for the purpose of investigation that will assist Abbie and Ichabod to solve the mysteries.
Don’t forget to watch the premiere of “Sleepy Hollow” season 3 on Oct. 1, 2015 on FOX.
