It seems that Sansa Stark of “Games Of Thrones” is slowly coming out of the fantasy drama series and trying her hands into different-different works to establish herself as a versatile actress. Yes, the charming face of GOT, Turner has signed Huffington Post’s upcoming web series titled #PowerShift in which she will be seen as a host disclosing social media’s effects on people.
The 10-part series will show the importance of using social media and how helpful it is in bringing social justice and political change by showing stories related to same. During Huffington Post’s parent company AOL’s presentation at IAB Digital Upfronts, London on Oct. 20, 2015. the gorgeous star expressed her enthusiasm about her latest gig.
“I’m really excited to be involved with #PowerShift and presenting this new series for HuffPost.” Turner said.
She further expressed, “Social media has amplified the voice for my generation around the world and changed the way that we communicate. I am a huge advocate of social media and thrilled to be given the opportunity to delve deep into its influence and impact on society at large.”
The Guardian reported that “#PowerShift” will be commissioned in the United Kingdom and shown on all international websites of Huffington Post including Germany, Canada, Spain and Japan. As far as the popularity of Huffington Post goes in launching U.K. series, names like “Being Mum” and “30 Something” immediately hit our mind.
Well, as the name and idea of the “#PowerShift” suggest, it is going to be a very good and informative series through which people can learn so many things and as far as Turner’s learning and experience are concerned, this series will definitely provide a boost to her future projects.
