‘Spectre’ To Begin Its Journey With A Charity Event

London’s Royal Albert Hall will witness the world premiere of the upcoming movie in the Bond series “’Spectre” on October 26, as a charity event under The Royal Film Performance arranged by the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund of U.K.

Yes, the screening of Sam Mendes 12A certificate movie will be a charity event. The money collected from the event will be used for the welfare of people connected to films, TV and cinema industries and encountered accidents, suffering from diseases, mourning, and unemployment.


As we know that the event is for the British Royals, so, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, will surely be present at the event along with the entire team of the movie namely, Christoph Waltz, Daniel Craig, Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux, David Bautista, Naomie Harris, Monica Bellucci, Ralph Fiennes, director Sam Mendes, producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the producers of the movie, Wilson and Broccoli show their gratitude after hearing the news and said, “We are honored that their royal highnesses, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will attend the Royal Film Performance of “Spectre” and delighted the CTBF will be the beneficiary of the event,” said Wilson and Broccoli.

Well, if we talk about the upcoming Bond film, news is making rounds that it will be 155 to 160 minutes long, meaning the longest film of the franchise. So, the British royals should keep themselves ready for long hour sitting in front of the screen.

Till now, around 70 big budget movies have been showed under the Royal Film Performance which was started functioning in 1946 with the premiere of David Niven and Kim Hunter starrer “A Matter of Life and Death.” And if we only talk about the Bond series films then “Spectre” will be the third one as before it 2002’s “Die Another Day” which stars Pierce Brosnan as Bond and 2006’s “Casino Royale” were shown to the British Royals.

The U.S. release date for “Spectre” is November 6, 2015.
