THE ORNATE FOUNTAIN PEN in “CRIMSON PEAK”
Well, when as we start the discussion about “Crimson Peak”, the scary movie Edith Cushing has used the golden pen as an integral part of the spooky intrigue. The film sees Cushing’s character, Mia Wasikowska to be gifted an ornate fountain pen by her father, as she aspires to be an author but later the plot goes topsy-turvy and Edith uses the same pen to stab Lucille (Jessica Chastain), who had brutally murdered her father.
THE VOLLEY BALL in “CAST AWAY”
Who can forget the impressive friendship between a volleyball and Chuck Nolan in “Cast Away”? The Tom Hanks starrer sees Nolan (Hanks) to be left stranded on a remote island after a crash landing. He had nothing to rely on but his wits and skills of improvisation. In order to survive, Nolan painted a face on the ball and named him Wilson. His accompaniment with Wilson on the abandoned island becomes symbolic.

This made the Red and Blue Pill became integral parts of that plot.
THE MASK in “FRIDAY THE 13TH”
“Friday The 13th” is a psychological horror where Jason, the antagonist of the movie, starts wearing a mask from the third installment of the series.
