However, with lot of new characters in the film some of whom themselves were fans of the franchise are making their debut in the film, Cinemablend had an opportunity to talk with them about their reaction to the challenge and advice from J.J. Abrams.

Firstly, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, who is a X-wing pilot, underwent a series of research of several Jet pilots to get into the character and perform as the most skilled pilot the resistance ever had. Next is Daisy Ridley as Rey who is a natural girl located long way from the battlefield entrusted with picking up parts from old ships had Abrams to tell her, to stay as natural as she can and look inside for help.

Abrams was the lynchpin in transforming Finn’s life into more of a mature and serious role, however, John Boyega who played that role emphasized on bringing some humor into the character. Next up was none other than Hans Solo, the name itself rings bells of Star Wars in your mind. Harrison Ford has been ever present in the series since the time of George Lucas in 1977 and as expected, Ford did not had any advice from Abrams as he trusted the script writers and realized what he needed to bring in the film.

Lastly, Adam Driver who had a huge task of replicating the footsteps of Darth Vader, Kylo Ren took the opportunity with both hands. Ren didn’t let any kind of pressure take over as Abrams gave the actor the example of Akira Kurosawa. The idea was to accept sensible things, improvise and disregard anything that gets into the way. Going through the review, it seems each actor has done exceedingly good and it has certainly made the comeback of the series a memorable one.
