‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Merchandise Is Diverse: Hits Stores on Force Friday

Many new products based on “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” will hit the stores on December 18, on Force Friday. Read on to know more details.

According to KTLA, Lucasfilm, Disney and other partners of the “Star Wars” franchise would prove once again that the “Star Wars” products are the best. This time, what is more surprising is that the “Star Wars” partners and merchandise has decided to maintain some secret until 12:01 a.m. on Force Friday. Hence, fans have no other choice except to wait for the Force Friday to know about the some of the new products, toys, and gadgets based around “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”


Steve Sansweet, an authority on “Star Wars” merchandise, said, “I’m looking forward to seeing the new action figures.” An old Han Solo and a bearded Luke Skywalker are the “Star Wars” products he would be anxious to see.

Sansweet revealed that the “Star Wars” merchandising mainly targets the kids. There are plenty of products including Playsets, Lego sets and action figures would be available for kids. Toys & products portraying the new characters like Captain Phasma, and Kylo Ren, as well as The lightsaber blade-builders, Hot Wheels’ “Escape from Jakku” set, and Kylo Ren’s lightsaber, would catch kid’s attention. We would also get Resistance jacket, similar to the one worn in the movie by Finn, for the kids.

20 new books such as “Star Wars: Lost Stars,” “Smuggler’s Run,” “Moving Target,” and “Weapon of a Jedi,” would be available from this fall. This would be definitely a delight for the literally inclined fans of “Star Wars.”

“Disney Interactive 3.0,” the Disney-themed video game, has now included the “Star Wars” characters in order to give a compete feeling to the game.

For the fashion girl fans of “Star Wars,” Cover Girl’s “Force Awakens”- themed cosmetics would be available. For foodies fans of the franchise, “Star Wars”-themed cans for Campbell’s soups, and “Star Wars” characters shaped Spaghetti-Os & noodles would be an attraction.

While there are plentiful of cheap “Force Awakens” products and simple products with logos & character images would be available for the casual fans, many expensive & complex products are available for the hardcore fans of the film.

You could get the Force Friday messenger bags at Disney parks. Limited products such as “Force Awakens” pins would be given out to the early customers at Disney Stores.
