Star Wars: The Force Awakens News: Director JJ Abrams Interviewed by Celebrities Including George Lucas
“Star Wars 7” is almost ready for its premiere and the production house is getting really busy with the promotions for the film. Director JJ Abrams gave a video interview for the Vanity Fair Magazine where he was asked by many celebrities and press interviewers several questions about his Star Wars reboot. Notables included T. J Miller, who asked him why was he trying to make reboots of both Star Trek and Star Wars and was given a rude answer, and George Lucas who asked him what happened to Darth Vader’s grandchildren who also got a somewhat rude answer. Read on for more details.
Lucas was given a somewhat rude answer when he fielded his question to “Star Wars 7” director, JJ Abrams. The franchise mastermind asked a really silly question. “What happened to Darth Vader’s grandchildren?” Quick to respond, Abrams retorted with acerbic wit, “You tell me man, you made all this sh*t up.” We wonder what Lucas thought of this young whippersnapper director who thought he could blow off the great George Lucas.
Actor T.J Miller also asked a slightly funny question and got an equally funny answer. Miller asked him why he was doing reboots. JJ Abrams had already done “Star Trek” and was now doing a “Star Wars” reboot. Abrams came back with a funny answer, “T.J, you get one hit show and you just become an a*shole.”
Other questions fielded received equally funny answers. Abrams told an interviewer that he would be asleep on the night the film releases for the audiences. He also cracked a joke when he was asked if Jar Jar Binks will be brought back to the franchise. He said that they were developing a Netflix series called “Binks and I.”
