‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Posters Recalls 1977 Memory
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” all the marketing plans that have been undertaken till now have been quite fruitful till now. However, the poster campaign is one area where we can see some kind of improvement.
According to Slash Film, taking a look at the recent poster of characters and the final one sheet things cannot be said to be really terrible, however, it does seem that there is some shortage in certain areas, the biggest among them being the finishing touch that was supposed to be given to artist Drew Struzan, as these can be said to be an exclusive poster from D23.
However, when a new poster comes out for the teaser of “The Force Awakens,” a good amount of improvement can be made in the department of the poster. These posters may look simple and plain, but this has been done intentionally as the fans of Star Wars are aware of the inspiration from where these posters will be taken.
Is there any familiarity in any of these posters? For the young fans of “Star Wars,” they might not be able to trace back all the things, but someone who has seen the original opening of the movie that happened in 1977, will take note of it at once. This is something that requires a good memory to recall as it is something that happened nearly 38 years back.
According to Just Film News, it can be said that this is a wonderful tribute to the original movie and considering what things have been known so far for the movie The Force Awakens. This is the first movie in the trilogy of the original “Star Wars” movie. Regardless of all the things, this homage is the most appropriate one.
That is all for now. Do lend us your expert views in comments.
