‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Update: New Poster Revealed! A Major Character Missing On The Layout?
In just less than two months, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be seen on theaters and to make the moviegoers more thrilled for this, the team behind the film has just released a new poster. However, it seems like a significant character is not included in the final layout of the poster. Who is this character?
According to E! News, the said poster doesn’t have Luke Skywalker, portrayed by Mark Hamill. There are noticeable changes as well. For instance, Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) is sporting a new hairstyle. Gone are her signature hair buns in exchange of another detailed hairdo. Han Solo (Harrison Ford) is also included in the poster. Other known characters such as C-3PO, R2-D2, and Chewbacca are featured likewise.
If the poster highlighted characters from the past trilogy, it also showed new ones which added more excitement to the fans. These characters are Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). Princess Leia, Kylo Ren, and Finn; they are firmly grasping to their dazzling lightsabers. All this added the cool effect to the intergalactic theme of the poster.
In an article from MailOnline, upon releasing this on Twitter, fans easily distinguished a new object in the background which weren’t seen before. For them, it appears very similar to Death Star, hence, they thought probably this is a new weapon which has the power to wipe out a planet.
This latest released poster is the last one for the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Other new characters which the moviegoers will see are Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis), Maz Kanata (Lupita Nyong’o) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac).
Another trailer is set to be released on “Monday Night Football” at ESPN during the halftime. The show will feature Philadelphia Eagles-New York Giants NFL match-up that will start at 8:15 PM.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will hit the theaters on December 18, 2015.
