2015 seem to have been a great year for both Stephen Curry and Serena Williams. Both the athletes won several championships and along with it came much adoration from public as well as the press. Be it Stephen Curry’s great personality or Serena William’s Goddess like pose, both the athletes have proved that they are winner on and off court too.

Quite recent with the award “2015 Athletes of the year” by Associated Press to both Steph and Serene, there is yet another award under their kitty. Williams had won this award for the fourth time. The first three being in the year 2002, 2009 and 2013. She is second to Babe Didrikson in winning the maximum number of titles for AP athletes of the year. Not only has this, 2015 been very special for the tennis player considering the fact that she won the French Open, Australian Open, Wimbledon as well as “Best Sportsperson of the Year” by “Sports Illustrated”. However, she missed the Grand Slam title when she suffered a loss at the US Open semifinals.

Not to be lagging behind, Curry used his special skills to become “2015 AP Male Athlete of the Year”. His record- setting shooting numbers are known to change the game. Because of his on-court skills, the team Golden State Warriors managed to win the title for the first time in forty years and has become a must watch team. The amazing year also comprised of him winning MVP. The basketball player has become the face of NBA of late because of his on-court skills.

It remains to be seen whether Serena Williams and Stephen Curry takes the title next year too. The tennis player is more than determined to win the Grand Slam next year and go for several other wins too. As for the Golden State Warriors which have become immensely popular post their win, fans are absolutely sure that year 2016 is going to be great too.
