The movie dedicated to memorializing one of this generation’s most well-recognized innovators, “Steve Jobs” biopic has gone through a series of tumultuous exchanges during its pre-production phase. Right from changing the film’s helmsman to the continuous speculation of who will play as the genius man behind the Apple Icon, Universal has had a hard time putting things together that a lot of people almost thought that the movie will no longer be pushing through. Fast forward to this moment, Universal never gave up and continued to push on so now, they got “X-Men: Days of Future Past” actor Michael Fassbender to play the role with “127 Hours” director Danny Boyle calling the shots. And to make things even more positive for the film project, it has been announced that the film will be premiering by October, this year.
According to Screen Rant, Jeff Sneider of The Wrap made the breaking announcement on his Twitter feed. With the film being released in this time of the year, it would be safe to assume that it is aiming to be qualified for an Oscar nomination, just as most biopics are made usually for.

The 2015 “Steve Jobs” will actually be housing a power cast with Seth Rogen playing as the Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. Kate Winslet will be the former Mac marketing chief Joanna Hoffman. Jeff Daniels will take on the role of the Apple’s former CEO John Sculley. Actress Katherine Waterson will also be making an appearance as Chrisann Brennan, Steve Jobs’ ex-girlfriend and Makenzie Moss with Perla Haney-Jardine, playing as Jobs’ daughter Lisa in different ages of her life.
Last 2013, a movie entitled “Jobs” was also created as a dedication for the Apple innovator. Unfortunately, it received downsizing comments and very close to negative criticisms. This “Steve Jobs” is aiming for a better response once viewers finally witness its entire medium as Universal tapped “The Social Network” Oscar-winning screenplay writer Aaron Sorkin for the script. Sorkin will base it from the only authorized biography of Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson’s.
“Steve Jobs” is set to open in theaters this Oct. 9, 2015.
