The reemergence of Harrison Ford as Han Solo in the upcoming “Star Wars” film has gotten many people wondering if there is any chance that there will be a fifth “Indiana Jones” film in the future, and if the iconic role of Indiana Jones will be given to another, younger, actor, as Ford is no longer the spring chicken that he used to be.

However, according to Entertainment Weekly, Ford is still up to the task if offered the chance to do another Indiana Jones film with director Steven Spielberg.

Despite this, many have still continued to speculate as to who might be able to fill Indy’s shoes and fedora, just in case the character will be passed on to someone much younger.

It looks though, as if fans and viewers will not have much to speculate on as Spielberg, in a recent interview with Screen International, said that he would never pass the baton to any other actor, as he knows that no one else but Ford can portray Indiana Jones, especially with the timeline that they are currently following.
