‘Suicide Squad’ Movie Update: Batman Has the Super Villain Team On His Radar

It is no secret that the Dark Knight will be part of the “Suicide Squad”. When you assemble a team of the most dangerous people, Batman is bound to be concerned. Many reports have claimed that his role might just be a cameo as the main focus continues to be the super villains. But since “Suicide Squad” is the part of a plan that will eventually lead to “Justice League” in the DC Cinematic Universe, there are a couple of theories that hint at Batman’s role being more than just a cameo.

According to Movie Pilot, out of the couple of things that Batman will be doing in the movie, first one will be to keep a track of Joker and his on/off girlfriend Harley Quinn. In a set photo that has Jared Leto’s Joker and Margot Robbie’s Harley talking, one can see Ben’s Bruce Wayne hiding his face in a veil. He is probably observing both of them and maybe just after that comes the Batman scene, which has him standing on the roof of Joker’s car, occurs. The scene was included in the trailer. Second thing that the Batman will be involved is the links directly to the person who assembles Task Force X.

Amanda Waller will have a visitor in the form of Batman as soon as he comes to know about the team of super villains that is being assembled. He warns her that if there are any civilian casualties in any of Suicide Squad’s missions, he will come after her. The third thing is that something horrible indeed happens in one of the mission and the Suicide Squad decide to take opportunity of the same and flee their own way after having disengaged the self destructing bracelets they have been given by the government. Batman goes after each one of them putting them in the Asylum and eventually reaching the Joker. Once he is also in the Arkham prison, Batman goes to Amanda Waller pledging to reveal all her dirty secrets and continuing to keep a watch on her activities.

These are all certain possibilities as of now, but as mentioned before both “Suicide Squad” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” are going to play a major part towards building the DC Cinematic Universe. So fans should expect all the movies to interconnect somehow and catch them at the theaters beginning next year.
