‘Suicide Squad’: New Video Shows How the Important Car Chase Scene in the Movie Will End
“Suicide Squad” already wrapped filming in Toronto last week and thanks to the extensive coverage the movie got over the last few months, fans were flooded with information about the movie every single day. However, it seems some parts of “Suicide Squad” needed more attention to detail and hence were being reshot in the city. Read on.
According to Uproxx, a couple of videos were recently released after “Suicide Squad” wrapped filming in the Canadian city. These videos basically happen to reveal the extensive car chase scene that was shot between the Batman and the evil Prince of Crime back in May. In the scene, one can see Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn sitting next to the Joker while Batman was on the roof of the car. It should be noted that in the video and in the actual scene shot in May, it is actually the stunt doubles that were shooting for it and not the real actors (except for Margot). The new videos give you a clearer picture of what goes down in the scene when Batman is seen chasing the Joker and Harley Quinn.
One other thing that these videos have done is revealed how the scenes will end. When the video was first released it only showed the Dark Knight in pursuit of the maniac but it didn’t really tell you what would happen in it. According to the new videos, the Joker crashes into a body of water while Batman pulls out another gadget and swings away to safety. It can be assumed that after this the Dark Knight will surely take both the lunatics back to Arkham Asylum where Harley meets her future “Suicide Squad” teammates.
Comicbook.com added that since Robbie and Jared Leto have already departed Toronto, the director needed just some extra footage for the scene. He probably must have decided to shoot more footage because it can lend more perspective to the scene in the movie. Fans will surely know when “Suicide Squad” releases on Aug. 5, 2016.
