‘Suits’ Season 5: Harvey And Mike Grappling With A Huge Decision Who Should Stay, Says Aaron Korsh
It has been just four years and a few months in the making of “Suits,” but after the airing of “Suits” season 5, episode 10, it looks like the long secret of Mike (Patrick J Adams) is finally revealed.
Aaron Korsh, senior executive producer had an interview with TV Line in which he said that “Suits” episode 10 entitled “Faith” would take a deep leap in Mike and Harvey’s (Gabriel Macht) past so that both the characters could grapple with a big choice.
“The focus of the episode is very much on the backstories of both Harvey and Mike, influencing their decisions and what they are going to do moving forward,” Korsh previewed.
In the final episode, Mike visits a priest who played an important role in his childhood mainly after the demise of his parents, whereas Harvey reopens about his earlier issues with his mother. When Korsh was questioned why he opted to trot in the track of past, he replied that they actually wanted “Mike and Harvey each grappling” with a final decision whether they must go or stay back.
In the previous episode entitled “Unwanted Guests,” Harvey anyhow discovered the role of Charles (Eric Roberts) in “funding” Daniel’s (David Costabile) attempt to seize the firm. However, Charles came to a deal with Daniel that if Harvey gives up his position as managing partner, he would then cut off Daniel’s funding.
According to Buddy TV, there is no choice for Jessica (Gina Torres) except going for Louis (Rick Hoffman), who is actually confused about the vote as he earlier thought that Jessica could make Jack (John Pyper-Ferguson) a name partner of Pearson Specter Litt. On the other hand, Harvey turns to Dr. Agard (Christina Cole) to assist him ponder over the decision whether he should resign from his post or not. But Harvey’s mind is not at all free from the garbage of his past.
