According to the episode guide from The CW, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) goes to Chicago this time to investigate about the friction between two families: shapeshifters and werewolves. These families run the underbelly of Chicago. Although they are that “powerful,” they remain unknown to humans.
Margo Lassiter (Danielle Savre) leads the shapeshifter mafia, while Julian Duval (Sean Faris) leads the werewolves. Margo’s reign is put into question when David (Nathaniel Buzolic), her brother, comes home.
In Chicago, the Winchesters meet Ennis (Lucien Laviscount). Ennis has wrath for the family of monsters. They soon warn him that his anger might lead him into a hunter-like lifestyle, but he refuses to listen. You see, Ennis’ fiancée is killed during a cross fire encounter with these monsters. That is why he is full of anger. His mentor, Stephen Martines, also a Chicago police officer, earns a living under one of the monstrous clan.
Moreover, in a scoop that we got from IBTimes, David does not want to get involved with the family’s dealings, so he tries to live a “human” life. He is currently pursuing some degree in college.
So what is the twist in this episode? It is no other than a love story! In a sneak peek from TV Line, they revealed that love will blossom amidst the monstrous clans, Violet Durant (Melissa Roxburgh) and David. It is a Romeo and Juliet kind of story.
