‘Switched at Birth’ Season 4 Spoilers: Will Toby and Lily Abort Their Baby? Daphne and Mingo Breakup?

“Switched at Birth” Season 4 returned with a bang following the revelation that Toby and Lily are expecting a baby. While the ABC Family series has previously tackled a serious issue in its previous season, it looks like the show may take on yet another controversial matter: Abortion. Will Lily and Toby choose to abort their unborn child? This article contains spoilers for “Switched at Birth.” Read on for more details.

The long wait for the second half of “Switched at Birth” is finally over, as the ABC Family series returned this week in an episode titled, “To Repel Ghosts.” While many fans were expecting for a big pregnancy reveal in the season premiere episode, many did not expect that Lily will be the one getting pregnant.

In “Switched at Birth” Season 4 Episode 12 titled, “How Does a Girl Like You Get to Be a Girl Like You,” fans will see Bay continue to get on with her life without Emmett, cited Carter Matt. Many fans were hoping to see Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Emmett (Sean Berdy) reunite when the second half of the show returns on TV; unfortunately, the latest episode only showed Bay crying buckets of tears over her breakup with Emmett.

Bay will also try to sign up for a Spanish class in order to divert her attention away from the pain, but it turns out she will also have her own spotlight this season. According to the official synopsis, a new harassment policy in school will put Bay into the center. Is this related to her incident with Tank?

Daphne (Katie Leclerc), on the other hand, will seem to realize that she and her new beau, Mingo have a lot of differences, which will make her rethink about their relationship. Are they headed for a breakup?

Meanwhile, She Knows listed ten of the most explosive spoilers for this season, including the possibility that the show will tackle abortion. As seen on the latest episode, Toby (Lucas Grabeel) and Lily found out that they are pregnant. The outlet cited that a previous report seemingly hints that this pregnancy issue will be “even more powerful” than Bay and Tank’s rape issue.

Will Toby and Lily choose to abort their baby? Find out when “Switched at Birth” Season 4 episode 12 premieres on Monday, Aug. 31 on ABC Family.
