Taeyeon’s Debut Album Is Still A No Go As Rephrased By Girl’s Generation Management
In a report from Soompi, S.M. Entertainment, the home label responsible for Taeyeon’s South Korean K-Pop sensation Girl’s Generation has made it understandable that they have already put in order everything that is needed for the release of Taeyeon’s debut. Read on for more details.
“While we are indeed preparing for the release of Taeyeon’s album, the release date and other details have yet to be decided,” a spokesperson from S.M. Entertainment pointed out.
S.M. Entertainment just barely a week ago was reported by Sports Donga via Soompi that along with Taeyeon, her fellow Girl’s Generation member Tiffany also had an upcoming album which will be available immediately after the former’s album is out in the market.
A source told the news out that the two Girl’s Generation that their solo albums are going to be released this year. It was also reported that Taeyeon is in the process of finishing her album and Tiffany will follow up with hers as well.
Taeyeon is noted to have a clear and powerful voice. It’s no wonder that ever since she debuted in 2007 she has become the principal singer for Girl’s Generation of which S.M. Entertainment has awarded such a duty with a debut album.
Despite this recent interlude in her career, Taeyeon, during a recent guest appearance of Girl’s Generation MBC Every1‘s “Weekly Idol” as reported in Soompi, was inquired about her flourishing exploits in providing OST’s for various Korean television dramas.
Member Sooyoung though felt it best that she answered the question in behalf of Taeyeon.
“If you think from the perspective of the people who enjoy Taeyeon’s songs, it’s easier to empathize with the female lead when Taeyeon sings,” The 25-year-old Girl’s Generation singer explained Taeyeon’s designation as “Queen of OST.”
