Taylor Swift ‘1989 World Tour’ Dates Update; Surprise Guests for 2015 Concert
Swifties, are you all excited for Taylor Swift’s “1989 World Tour”? Her latest album, with hits such as “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space” and “Welcome to New York” sold more than a million copies when it was first released. No wonder tickets for the “1989 World Tour” were selling out fast.
Mark your calendars, Taylor fans! The “1989 World Tour” kicks off on May 5, 2015 at Tokyo, Japan according to the pop star’s official website.
Swift will do several shows on the US beginning with Bossier City, Los Angeles on May 20, 2015, before she goes abroad the following month.
The “1989 World Tour” is also expected to hit various cities in North America and Europe, including Germany, Amsterdam, Scotland, UK, London and the Netherlands. By the end of the year, Swift says she plans to bring the “1989 World Tour” to Asia and Australia, as well.
No need to worry for those who were unable to snag concert tickets yet. Rumor has it, Swift plans to extend the tour on places with the highest demand for tickets. Remember when she added three more shows to her LA tour? That might just happen in your area, fingers crossed!
Apart from Swift’s performance, fans also get excited with the guests she bring to the show. The “Blank Space” singer had chosen quite an interesting mix of performers over the years including Jennifer Lopez, Ellie Goulding, Tegan and Sara, and of course, best pal Ed Sheeran.
It’s only been less than a year since the seven-time Grammy winner completed the last leg of her international tour for “Red,” since then she has launched a new album, graced the cover of a multiple magazine covers, released two music videos and even had time to send personalized gifts to her fans. This girl shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon, that’s for sure.
