Footballer Sean St. Ledger denied him and singer Taylor Swift being in a relationship.

Sean St. Ledger and Taylor Swift were caught in the middle of a very peculiar relationship rumor. This was after he suggested Taylor Swift might come during his game, according to Mirror Online.

St. Ledger said, “I’m sitting on the fence. She’s not been to a game, as of yet. I’m thinking that she might come to one of the New York ones. We’ll see.”

The report went on saying that Taylor Swift and Sean St. Ledger fans were also confused after seeing Swift holding hands with another rumored sweetheart DJ Calvin Harris.

To sort things out, the former defender for Preston North End denied the news and said he and Taylor are not an item. An interview was previously conducted by RTE’s Soccer Republic where Sean St. Ledger discussed his career as well as the rumored links to Taylor Swift.

After the interview, the footballer tweeted on his official Twitter account, @seanstledger12, “I think the guys @SoccRepublic cut out an important part of that interview where I said that I think miss swift is seeing a certain dj!”, to further clarify the news.

The odd relationship rumors started when Sean St. Ledger and Taylor Swift were spotted meeting during a New Year’s Eve party. However, after denying reports, it’s now clear that Sean St. Ledger and Taylor Swift are not, in anyway, romantically inclined.

On the other hand, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris seemed to have confirmed another rumored relationship story after being seen together last week. Calvin was spotted wrapping his arms around Taylor while watching the Haim Gig, reported Mirror Online.  Photographs were taken showing the pair holding each other’s hand and while they were getting inside the car.  The following morning, Calvin was also seen leaving the Blank Space hit maker’s house.
