‘Teen Mom’ Series Star Ryan Edwards Gets Into a Friday Car Crash
‘Teen Mom’ series star Ryan Edwards gets involved in a rather bloody head-on car collision on Friday, Dec. 12. in Chattanooga, Tennesee.
According to TMZ, upon interviewing Chattanooga PD officials, two cars, one of which Edwards’ car and the other driven by an unnamed woman, crashed head-on with each other that night.
As of the moment, investigations on the crash are still undergoing. However, according to some witnesses, they saw Edwards’ car speeding up and swerving across double yellow lines, and later smashing into the female driver's car.
Fortunately, none of the two drivers were severely injured. The other driver was driven to a hospital by ambulance and reports of her condition are still to be announced. Edwards, on the other hand, refused to be hospitalized despite his badly bleeding head wound. Instead, he waited on the side of the road to have a fire fighter patch his wounds up while he had a friend pick him up from the scene.
On Saturday, Dec. 13, Edwards shared some pictures from the accident via Facebook, one of him having his wounds tended and another of his wrecked car. Included with it was a caption, saying “Ryan was in a bad car crash yesterday. Thankfully he is ok”.
According to Starcasm.net, Edwards has no known record of driving accidents. Alhough last month, he did tweet a picture of himself driving his car, allegedly the same car he was driving at the accident, at 115mph.
Edwards is known for being the ex-fiancé of Maci Bookout in the reality TV series Teen Mom. He is also the father of her five-year old son Bentley. Upon finding out of her ex’s accident, Bookout took to Twitter to give updates on Edwards’ condition. On her post, she claimed that “…the articles ‘reporting the story’ have many errors in their facts. Thankfully Ryan is okay!”, which was followed by a link to Instagram of picture of her and her son.
