Teen Wolf Season 4 Recap: Muted
In the latest episode of “Teen Wolf” Season 4, Episode 3 “Muted,” it seemed like everything was getting back to normal — normal in a way these teens could be. At Beacon Hills High School, everyone was preparing for a good game of lacrosse, which means that our supernatural characters were having a chance of being normal teenagers. “Muted” aired on Monday, July 7, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. on MTV. Coach classified this season of lacrosse as a “rebuilding,” and Scott and Stiles were actually up to play lacrosse again. In fact, they wondered if they can still claim their positions on the team, especially Scott who wanted to know if he’s still the team’s captain. Unfortunately, the coach made sure that the position was open and that he was waiting for some takers.
So the team got a new superstar who turned out to be the very hot Liam, and he was hard to beat, which made Stiles wonder whether he’s kind of an animal as well. Then again, Scott told him that he wasn’t. Stiles got insecure, so he hit Liam harder on the field, which caused him an injury. Scott and Stiles rushed him to the hospital. For Stiles, all he wanted was to show the whole team that he still got what it takes to be the team’s captain.
We also saw a new creature, who apparently murdered a boy’s whole family. The character looked so creepy, and it didn’t have a mouth! Sean left the creepy creature and went to the nearest hospital, while Deputy Parish went to the scene of the crime to investigate, only to bump into Lydia. Because of her banshee powers, it seemed as if she was at the right place at the right time. Lydia saw screaming faces in some wood paneling, and the next thing we know, they were in a meat locker full of people. Lydia called up Scott and told him to find the boy who escaped.
Liam became a hostage and almost fell off the building, as the fight was happening, again, in the hospital’s rooftop. Scott bit Liam to make sure that if ever he falls, he could still survive. However, before any of that happens, the creepy creature popped up to finish the job. Scott then realized that he’s now going to have to deal with a much stronger Liam now.
In other news, Kira’s parents were moving out of Beacon Hills, but Kira was still unsure if she wants to go back to New York. This uncertainty was, of course, all because of Scott. They may not be officially a couple, but she knew that there’s something going on between them. All she needed was confirmation from him, but it did not happen when Scott kissed her on the cheek. This left Kira very disappointed. However, before she totally forget about him, Scott went in for a real kiss after apologizing to her about the nonkiss thing.
Peter and Derek were still trying to figure out the person behind the heist that we saw last episode, which you can read about here. They hired Braeden to help them, but her fees were pretty high.
