We are feasting on some good movies to be released this year, and animated films are joining the fun. Read on and check out the 10  highly anticipated animated movies of 2015.

“Inside Out” (Release Date: June 19, 2015)


This movie is about a girl named Riley who was guided by her emotions: Sadness, Anger, Disgust, Fear and Joy as she starts her life in a new city and school.

“Hotel Transylvania 2” (Release Date: Sept. 25, 2015)

The sequel to the 2012 movie about Count Dracula, Mavis and the monster-friendly hotel is about to get wackier as Vlad, Dracula’s father, visits Hotel Transylvania. This Columbia Pictures movie still features the voices of Selena Gomez, Adam Sandler, Mel Brooks and Steve Buscemi.

“Underdogs” (Release Date: April 10, 2015)

A team of foosball player came to life and helped Jake save his town from the greedy soccer player, Ace. This movie is Ariana Grande’s film debut and Arianators are excited about it. Get a taste of the “Underdogs” and watch the trailer here.

“Home” (Release Date: March 27, 2015)

A human teenager named Tip went on the run with Oh, a banished alien, when his race invaded Earth. This movie was based on “The True Meaning of Smekday,” a book written by Adam Rex. The movie features the voices of Jennifer LopezRihanna, Steve Martin and Jim Parsons.

“Monster Trucks” (Release Date: Dec. 25, 2015)

This upcoming movie from Paramount Pictures was based from the popular modified vehicle called Monster Trucks.


“The Good Dinosaur” (Release Date: Nov. 25, 2015)

Arlo, an Apatosaurus, and his adopted human companion, Spot, went on a quest to help bring back peace and tranquility to Arlo’s community. More about this new animated film here.

“The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water” (Release Date: Feb. 6, 2015)

The lovable yellow sponge will hit the big screen this February with his new movie, “Sponge Out of Water.” In the sequel to his 2004 movie, Spongebob and the gang will go on an out of the water adventure to save Bikini Bottom from Burger Beard.

“Minions” (Release Date: July 10, 2015)

Finally, Minions have their own movie, and they are on a quest to find a new villainous master. This fun movie tells the story of the Minions’ life before Gru.

“The Peanuts Movie” (Release Date: Nov. 6, 2015)
