A new trailer has been released recently and at the same time, the lead stars of the blockbuster franchise, Theo James and Shailene Woodley shared their experiences during the production of the film.
According to Venture Capital Post, Theo James and Shailene Woodley cannot help but praise each other for providing the realistic drama in the story.
Meanwhile, the book author Veronica Roth recently revealed in the upcoming movie that there are going to be few changes from the novel and ending is not the thing that would change. According to Roth, fans can expect more intense scene in the upcoming film in “The Divergent” series.
Harper Collins released the “Allegiant” book in October 2013 through paperback version and Kindle version. The book was written from the perspective of Beatrice (Tris) and Tobias (Four). At the end of the book, Tris dies after saving the world. Fans were speculating that the movie will be having some alternate ending, like Tris and the other allies stayed alive and spent their life in harmony. However, this is not going to be the case.
In an interview with MTV News, author Veronica Roth explained that Tris’ destiny was to sacrifice herself for the sake of the rest of the human kind. According to the author, Tris has a near death experience at the end of the first book. Therefore, she knew that death was around the corner for her. However, as her character has been portrayed in the book and in the movie franchise, it is clear that she is among those persons who would sacrifice themselves for the sake of the humanity.
Veronica Roth also added that she did not have any misgivings about killing the protagonist of the story, and neither her publisher or the editor stopped her for doing that. “I think they knew I would only do it if it worked or if it felt like the only way it could end,” she explained.
