The Flash Adds a New DC Comics Character

A lot of fans are eagerly anticipating the premiere of “The Flash.” To make the anticipation bearable, the show has just announced a new cast member! Who do you think it is? It looks like there’s a new DC Comics character coming again! Read on to find out who will be joining the “The Flash.”

Robbie Amell will play the role of Ronnie Raymond and the fiancé of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker). He is also a S.T.A.R. Labs maintenance worker who will play a significant role in the particle accelerator accident that will give Barry his powers. Just recently, “Arrow” also announced new cast members, Brandon Routh and Devon Aoki, which you can read about the whole story here.

Greg Berlanti, “Geoff Johns, Andrew Kresiberg and myself designed the pilot and series to include Ronnie (aka Firestorm) – and to actually have someone with Robbie’s talent playing the role is beyond exciting. We can’t wait for viewers and fans of the character to check it out,” said Greg Berlanti, executive producer of the show, in the report from Variety.

In the DC Comics version, Ronald Raymond made up half of the Firestorm persona, while Martin Stein is the conscience and voice of reason, which in turn created an enjoyable banter between the two. Now we are going to see it on the small screen, which makes it more exciting! We can’t wait to see Firestorm in “The Flash” because we think that he’s a perfect addition to the show. With Firestorm around, things are bound to get even more interesting even if “The Flash” hasn’t even started yet!

“The Flash” will premiere this fall 2014 on The CW. For more details about the show, click here.
