The Fosters Recap: Truth Be Told [WATCH VIDEO]
“The Fosters” Season 2 Episode 5 “Truth Be Told” aired on Monday, July 14, 2014, at 9:00 p.m. on ABC Family. Brandon finally revealed to Lena what happened to him and Dani. Read on to learn more about this episode.
Previously on “The Fosters” (“Truth Be Told” Season 2 Episode 3), Emma (Amanda Leighton) and Jesus (Jake T. Austin) talked about their “relationship.” Emma told Jesus that their break up might be a mistake. This led to Jesus thinking things through, especially about his “secret” relationship with Hayley (Caitlin Carver). Emma still didn’t know about Hayley. Meanwhile, Hayley insisted on Jesus that they must let the public know about their relationship. Jesus was hesitant about it and explained to Hayley that Emma might still want to get back with him, and it would upset her to learn about Hayley. So what did Hayley do? She talked to Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and instructed her to tell Emma about them. Mariana, wanting to keep her place in the dance group, did what she was told. Jesus was obviously furious about it.
Brandon (David Lambert) went out for a practice with his bandmates. The practice turned out to be a pot night as the group went into the woods and help themselves with pot brownies. Unfortunately, Brandon succumbed to peer pressure and tried one. When he suddenly felt strange, he called Lena (Sherri Saum) to pick him up. Lena showed up and stayed with Brandon until the effect of the pot subsided. Then Brandon opened up about what happened to him and Dani (Marla Sokoloff). He then begged Lena not to tell anyone about it. Lena tried to convince Brandon that it was not his fault. Besides, he was a minor.
Stef (Teri Polo) followed Mike (Danny Nucci). He pulled over in a motel. Stef knocked, and when the door opened, she saw Ana (Alexandra Barreto)! If Ana was alive, then who was Mike arguing with that night?
