“The Good Wife” Season 6 Episode 8 "Red Zone" aired on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014, at 9:00 p.m. on CBS. The episode followed the story of Alicia Florrick's (Julianna Margulies) campaign for State's Attorney. Johnny Elfman was coaching her on how she should address personal questions. Johnny also conducted a survey through a focus group. He showed some videos to the audience and asked questions and opinions about Alicia.

In the office, Owen (Dallas Roberts) visited Alicia. He dropped by to discuss the rape case. Alicia accepted the responsibility. Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) interrupted the discussion as she wanted Alicia to listen to the audio-recording evidence against Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry).  Diane and Cary were upset as Cary's case became more difficult to defend due to the strong evidence against him.

Alicia left the office and went to the victim's, Jodi, place. Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) suddenly called her, asking Alicia for a meeting, but Alicia refused. Meanwhile, Jodi said she was raped at a party and wanted the guy who assaulted her expelled. She needed a lawyer to sit next to her during a university judiciary committee hearing.

During the panel, Jodi narrated what happened. While she was talking, the accused student interrupted her. Alicia wanted to speak, but she was forbidden and commanded to listen only. Alicia then gave the student a handbook and taught things that she should say during the university panel.

Alicia met Eli and Johnny. The guys were watching a video where some people from the focus group said something negative about Alicia. When they noticed Alicia arrived, they paused the video. They didn't give much details about the survey as they don't want to lose Alicia’s focus or let her down.

Lana Delaney (Jill Flint) and Kalinda Sharma (Archie Panjabi) were spending time together. No one knows about their relationship until Lemon Bishop (Mike Colter) made an investigation.

Alicia visited Finn Polmar's (Matthew Goode) office. She asked Finn if she's selfish. Finn was surprised with her question, and Alicia explained and revealed that one of the members in the focus group said she's selfish.

Next day, Alicia attended the university panel. Jodi showed improvement on defending and stating her side. However, the university decided that there's no enough evidence to expel the suspect. This led to Alicia raising her statement as she found no proper process on the panel. She stated that Jodi can sue the university for that action.

The rape case was undertaken in the court. Alicia faced Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox). Louis showed some awkward moment and said he had a kidney problem issue before. So the judge decided to cancel the trial. Alicia doubt Louis' situation. After leaving the court house, Alicia went to the charity house. She helped out in some tasks, such as scrubbing some kitchen utensils. Someone took a picture while she was scrubbing a pot. The picture was published, and it was edited, making the pot looks already clean. This published photo posed a negative image on Alicia. Eli asked Alicia to meet in order to discuss a strategy to find way to tap the edited picture. Meanwhile, Cary found out that Kalinda was having an affair with a woman. He talked to Kalinda and asked why she lied to him.

Kalinda met Bishop in a parking lot. He asked a few questions about Lana and gave a white card. He told Kalinda to put the card in Lana's wallet, but she didn't do it.
