‘The Walking Dead’ Spinoff Series Cast Its Female Lead
Another casting news came in for “The Walking Dead” Spinoff series. A woman is said to be playing one of the main characters. Who is she? Read on for further details.
Deadlone reported that Kim Dickens (“Sons of Anarchy”) has just been cast as the female lead for the upcoming spinoff of “The Walking Dead” TV series. According to our previous report regarding this series, the show is set in sunny Los Angeles and it will focus on the lives of the main characters: a female guidance counselor, her son, a male teacher and his daughter. We're guessing that Dickens will play the role of the female guidance counselor. What do you think?
Cliff Curtis has been cast as the male teacher, and Alycia Debnam Carey will be playing the role of his daughter. Let’s not forget that Frank Dillane (“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”) will play the role as the son of the female guidance counselor. So yeah, it really looks like Dickens just bagged the role as the guidance counselor.
For fans who are expecting a “crossover” between the original series and this upcoming series, bear in mind that this is a companion TV series, which means that there might be no crossovers… but let’s not close our doors to that possibility because we might be in for a twist. We’ll never know.
“The Walking Dead” spinoff series is really making fans very excited. We get to see how other people are dealing with the virus and zombie infestation on a different area. However, we don’t mind seeing Rick and the gang’s faces, though.
