The Whispers Changes Cast Member [WATCH VIDEO]

ABC is launching a new alien thriller, “The Whispers.” However, before the show even hit the small screen, it seems like it is undergoing changes in cast members. Who’s leaving? Are they adding a new one to the show? Read on to learn more about it and do not forget to check out the teaser below.

Brianna Brown, series regular of the show who plays Lena, a photojournalist and the wife of Wes (Barry Sloane), has gone in a different direction and will no longer be part of the show due to creative reasons.


With this change in the cast, the role will be reorganize and her scenes will be reshot. However, the air date has not been released yet. Their team is doing their best to get back on track and start filming regularly.

We’ve seen Brown in various TV series such as “Devious Maids,” “True Blood” and “General Hospital.” She is a part of USA Network’s “Graceland” as an FBI officer that will air on June 18, 2014.

“The Whispers” is produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin TV, and it follows that story of a world that will be invaded by aliens through the children. The show is said to be really freaky and gives a different taste to alien stories. Its pilot episode has aired, previously known as “The Visitors,” and was ordered to series on May 8, 2014. It will air on ABC during the 2014-15 season as midseason entry.

Cast members include Lily Rabe as Claire Bennigan, Barry Sloane as Wes Lawrence, Milo Ventimiglia as John Doe/Drew Bennigan, Derek Webster as Jessup Rollins, Catalina Denis as Dr. Maria Benavidez, Kylie Rogers as Minx Lawrence and Kyle Harrison Breitkopf as Henry.
