‘The Winds of Winter’ Spoiler Image: Arya Kills Raff, Throws Dead Body In The Canal

A Reddit user posted the 2016 calendar of the novel series “A Song of Ice and Fire” at Imgur that apparently gave a George R.R. Martin’s “The Winds of Winter” spoiler scene. What scene it showed? And who was in it? Read on for more details.

Reddit user Velvet_Wizard got a copy of “A Song of Ice and Fire” 2016 calendar art, which showed “The Windows of Winter” spoiler “Mercy” chapter scene. In it, Arya took on the face and identity of a girl named Mercy, Winter is Coming recalled.

The image was on February 2016, featuring the artist previously known as Mercy dumping Raff’s dead body in a Braavosi canal, Reddit user missdemeanant noted. It had a caption: IN BRAVOOS “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy.” “The Winds of Winter”.

When it was looked up in the novel, the picture somehow confirmed this dialogue:

“Valar morghulis,” Arya whispered, but Raff was dead and did not hear her. She sniffed. I should have helped him down the steps before I killed him. Now I’ll need to drag him all the way to the canal and roll him in. The eels would do the rest.”

It should also be noted that this was the only calendar month that had “The Winds of Winter” spoiler scene. The rest of the months had pictures, via Imgur, from previous “A Song of Ice and Fire” novel series:

  • January 2016: BEYOND THE WALL – “A Game of Thrones”
  • March 2016: VALAR MORGHULIS – “A Storm of Swords”
