‘Thor 3: Ragnarok’ Update: Tom Hiddleston Drop Hints
“Thor 3:Ragnarok” which is at least two years from a silver screen release has perhaps the most speculations surrounding it because it happens to be the beginning of Phase 3 that Marvel has lined up and will lead the story to “Avengers Infinity Wars”. There’s a new speculation rising with respect to the movie and Tom Hiddleston who plays Loki has hinted at something recently with his comment.
According to Venture Capital Post, there are new reports coming in about “Thor 3: Ragnarok” featuring a different cause of destruction in the movie. According to the actual story of Norse mythology said that the Gods in Asgard including Thor, Loki, Odin and Heimdall were attacked by fire giants called the Surtur/Surtrs and that led to the death of Gods but the makers seems to be going for a different approach when it comes to the movie adaptation.
New reports suggest that it will be Thanos, the mad titan who has set his eyes on getting hold of all the infinity stones by himself to pursue Asgard and attack it. If speculations are to be believed, Thanos who was seen holding the infinity gauntlet in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” mentioned that he is disappointed that his henchmen could not do the job for him and that now he himself will go and get hold of all the infinity stones. In the lure of infinity stones, Thanos will attack Asgard and result in one of the God’s death. A God who holds a significant importance in the movie. Earlier it was speculated that Thor will battle the mad titan and as a result will be killed but that seems a bit unbelievable as the God of Thunder is invincible to some extent.
But if the new reports are to be believed then it will be Loki who will be killed by Thanos instead of Heimdall or Thor killing him for his treachery. Following this event Thor could very well give up his power to Jane making her the Female Thor. Loki who was last seen in “Thor: The Dark World” had assumed the form of Odin when Thor met him. So there’s a huge chance that Thanos under the pretext of killing Odin might just end up killing Loki who’s impersonating Odin. But since Loki also happens to be the God of Mischief, he might just trick the mad titan and show up in a future movie since Tom is still under a multi movie deal with Marvel. On his character, Tom said that “Thor 3: Ragnarok” is happening and since the last time we saw Loki in the form of Odin enjoying the throne, there are certainly some questions that need answering.
After successfully fooling almost every character in the franchise, fans need not get disheartened if they see Loki in a dying state because there are chances that he will trick you.
