Over his long and fruitful career as a Hollywood star, one must have learnt quite a few things by just looking at him accomplish so much. We too shall take a look at some of those things.
According to MTV News, there have been multiple occasions when Tom has thrown himself into harm’s way just so that fans can get that well deserved entertainment from his movies. Some might label it as “being taken too far” but in Tom’s dictionary it is called “going that extra mile” or “putting in extra effort” to nail the shot. From climbing the World’s tallest building Burj Khalifa in “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” to hanging outside a military plane waiting for the door to open in the upcoming “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation”, Tom has time and again proved that age is just a number for a star like him.
These are not the only movies in which he has shown such Daredevilry. In the franchise’s previous movies like “Mission Impossible 2,” Tom Cruise’s entrance was shown with his character free solo climbing in Dead Horse Point State Park in Utah where he used just a harness to do the stunt. Even with studio expressing their concern over his safety, he was adamant about doing the stunt. Further, in his other films like “Knight and Day,” the bike chase stunt in the movie was done by him and he stated at the time that he chose do his stunts again and again until he was convinced that it looked authentic.
As far as the latest installment in the “Mission Impossible” franchise is concerned, Tom will be pulling two major stunts in the movie.
