Tom Cruise Hasn’t Seen His Biological Daughter Suri In 800 Days
Tom Cruise, who loves his 9-year-old daughter Suri a lot, has not seen her in last 800 days. It has been assimilated that he has not spent time with daughter Suri in past two years. The actor has been busy with the work of Scientology. Doesn’t he miss his biological daughter?
The 53-year-old Cruise has a nine-year-old daughter Suri from ex-wife, Katie Holmes, 36. HollywoodLiff.com reports that Cruise has not bothered to see his daughter even when he was in the same city. Is it controversial Scientology religion that puts him under any obligation to not to see his biological child?
When Cruise and Katie Holmes divorced in 2012, the custody of Suri went to Holmes. Many believe that since Suri is being raised by Holmes and not according to Church’s beliefs, so she should also be shunned.
According to MailOnline, a source has told National Enquirer, “He doesn’t seem interested in being part of Suri’s day-to-day life. Katie does her best to be a hands-on mum but there’s no replacing her father.” The source also told, “He hasn’t been seen in public with his daughter in over two long years – that’s a fifth of her lifetime.”
The “Mission Impossible” actor has not been clicked along with Suri Cruise by the paparazzi from past two years. When Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were still married, he photographed with his daughter quite frequently.
Katie Holmes has never approved of the Church of Scientology but Tom Cruise always had strong faith in the religion. So, it might be that members of the Church of Scientology want Tom Cruise to stay away from all the negativity by maintaining distance from Katie Holmes as well as Suri Cruise.
A former member of Scientology, Marc Headley has stated to the publication that the reason why Tom Cruise would not show more involvement in Suri’s life could be that Cruise thinks that Holmes’s family utters a lot of bad things about the religion. But Suri’s father is an important member of the same religion.
