Tom Hardy teases ‘Mad Max 2’; Trilogy In The Works
One of the most anticipated Hollywood movie, “Mad Max: Fury Road” got its official release in UK and if the earlier reviews are to be believed then this movie is a roller coaster ride. The film has been described as, “jaw dropping” and “action packed.” Tom Hardy, who replaced Max Mel Gibson said at Cannes that, he is totally ready to work in the next part of the film.
At the Cannes Film Festival, Tom Hardy also spoke about the process of making the “Mad Max: Fury Road” movie which apparently took about seven months to shoot. He stated that no one in the star cast had any idea about the final look of the movie and after watching the two hour long film, the stars finally understood the vision of the director George Miller. He later added that he is totally ready to go do another one.
The first trailer of the “Mad Max: Fury Road” was first seen in the 2014 Comic-Con. Miller also revealed that the movie is just the first part of the trilogy, which means that fans can definitely look forward to more action packed movies in the future
In an interview with the Esquire, Tom Hardy said that he had signed up for three “Mad Max” movies. The actor, however, was quick to stress that the producing the sequel depends on the payment, not to mention on the public and critic’s perception.
“Everything’s based on figures and how things are perceived. Inevitably it’s a business,” he said.
