Tom Hiddleston Does Not Seem Sure About Fans Wanting To See More Loki in Movies
Let’s be a little honest here, I am not the only one who saw the “Avengers” just for Loki right? There are many fans that have loved the character ever since Tom Hiddleston brought it to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But what about when Tom himself feels unsure about Loki’s future in the MCU? In a recent interview his statement about Loki’s participation further in the MCU did not sound too encouraging.
According to Cinema Blend, Tom Hiddleston keeps on saying “if” whenever he is asked to talk about his character Loki and the possibility of fans getting to see him in the role again on-screen. This isn’t the first time “Thor” actor’s answer has sounded a bit shady, as he has been saying the same thing again and again.
In this interview, he did mention that if he gets to play the character again, he would try to play it in a different way and try something new. The saddening part came when he questioned if people would like to see Loki again in the MCU, as he himself can’t put an estimate on it. Apart from wondering how the other actors who play the “Avengers” might feel about playing the same role again and again, he also praised Marvel for what they have done with the characters, which is quite remarkable.
MTV raised the question if fans are truly done with Loki and tired of seeing him on-screen? Quite honestly, as the God of Mischief, Loki is also responsible for some of the comic moments we saw in “Avengers,” “Thor” and “Thor: The Dark World.” If there’s no Loki you can’t expect Thor to be active all the time because his half-brother is the reason why he is always on his feet. Besides, with the eventual entry of Thanos in the MCU, the mad titan will have a lot of responsibilities to fulfill since Marvel’s most favorite villain has already achieved quite a lot.
