Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming American gothic romantic horror movie “Crimson Peak” is slated to release on October 16, 2015. The director told iO9 that this one will be filled with kinky and unsettling action. Tom Hiddleston revealed about his role in this much-awaited flick. Minor Spoiler Alert! The romantic thriller revolves around a crumbling mansion in a mountainous suburban region where young author Edith Cushing, played by Mia Wasikowska, 25, falls for Sir Thomas Sharpe, played by Tom Hiddleston, 34. Post marriage, she discovers that her charming new husband is a mysterious man who leads her into a house of horror and blood.


Tom expressed delight about playing this dark and twisted character.

“Crimson Peak” address incest between Sir Thomas Sharpe and his siblings. Tom told iO9, “They’re a brother and a sister who’ve been orphaned, and they’re in this big old house, and they have a very deep connection. But there’s a lot of other romantic elements in the film, too.”
