Tom Holland speaks About Andrew Garfield & ‘Spider-Man’ Reboot
Tom Holland, the new Spiderman of Marvel reboot, revealed a lot of trivia during the promotion of “In the Heart of the Sea.” The epic historical adventure features Tom Holland in the role of the young cabin boy Thomas Nickerson. During the promotional event Holland mentioned about Andrw Garfield, his predecessor in the “Spiderman” series and how he prepared himself for the role. According to Comic Book Movie, 19-year-old Tom Holland stated that, he hasn’t met Garfield ever, but he is a huge fan of Garfield and he completely adores his role of Peter Parker. He further mentioned that he did the role of Parker with utmost perfection and it is very difficult to not copy him.
Holland expressed his wish to work together with Garfield in the future; though the Garfield starrer Spiderman movies were definitely not critically acclaimed, his performances were duly appreciated.
It is further speculated that Holland is going through an exercise regime in order to have perfect flexibility for the Spiderman trademark acrobatics. Holland revealed that he has been doing various kinds of specialised trainings to have a perfect body for the reboot. It is reportedly said that Holland is said to be exercising with a kind of electric strap belt and an AirTrack gymnastics mat.
Sony and Marvels’ joint Spiderman reboot remain untitled as of now and is about to release on July 28, 2017. So far there has been nothing much revealed about the story and cast. Tom Holland will appear in the role of Peter Parker and Marisa Tomei is said to be starred as Aunt May.
