Tom Holland’s Nostalgia Of ‘Spider Man’ On Instagram Reveals Spidey Has Been A Part Of His Childhood
After Sony disclosed its decision to say adieu to our very own Spidey Andrew Garfield and opted for young Tom Holland, to play the most celebrated character of “Spider Man” since then there has been a lot of speculation about whether the young actor would be more apt than Garfield.
Recently, the 19-year-old actor Tom Holland, who has been chosen to don in the Spider-Man costume, took to Instagram to share a photo captioned as, “A trip down memory lane…”
Off and on Holland took to his Instagram profile to display his gymnastics Spider-Man skills, but this time the young actor got nostalgic as he shared a Spidey costume from his childhood days, which his mother preserved for years. This reveals that Marvel superhero has been a part of his life, as he grew up from a kid to being celebrity today.
Late June this year, the Marvel Cinematic Universe revealed, Tom Holland would be their new cast to portray Peter Parker and make his way to Joe and Anthony Russo’s “Captain America: Civil War” – which would be Tom Holland’s first character appearance as ‘Spider-Man’- cited by MNG previously. Production for Holland’s Spider-Man solo film, helmed by Jon Watts would begin next summer.
Although, Marvel is enthusiastic about the new Spidey, they are also allegedly remorseful for his forerunner. Meanwhile Movie Pilot reported that Garfield got emotional speaking about his preceding role, revealing – “I didn’t actually make it. I was never Spider Man.”
Till the time Marvel’s new franchise of “Captain America” hits the theater and the studio becomes more advance in treating the approach of its new “Spider Man”, fans are entirely left to controvert regarding the upcoming changes. Indeed, many Marvel fans are already retaliating to the new genre of superhero, while others can’t yet proceed from Andrew Garfield’s depiction of the character.
