Too Close to Home Season 2 Releases January; Show Synopsis and Other Details Revealed
TLC has a very impressive lineup of reality shows. The network is known to air some of the most popular reality TV series like Cupcake Wars, 19 Kids and Counting, Counting On and Little People Big World. However, it is also proving itself on the scripted show competition with its first original scripted show renewal, Too Close to Home season 2.

TLC’s first ever scripted show ended its first season with very impressive outcome. The ratings of the show turned out to be as competitive as other TLC successful shows. There was no doubt that a renewal was underway when season 1 ended.
Too Close to Home season 2 will still follow the life of Anna as she moves back home in Alabama after a very damaging White House scandal. Well, who would not want to leave even if that means going back to a place where you purposely left behind? Her affair with the President of the United States was broadcast to the entire world. For anyone, that leaves a person no choice but to go back home.
Season 2 Details
According to a report by TV Series Finale, Too Close to Home season 2 has finished production. The TV series directed and produced by Tyler Perry will have eight new episodes that will premiere on Jan. 4 next year at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
The filming of the second season took place at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta. The studio was the former Fort McPherson army base. Danielle Savre will be reprising her role as Anna, Kelly Sullivan will once again play Bonnie, Brad Benedict will reprise his role as J.B., Brock O’Hurn will still portray Broody and Brooke Anne Smith will come back to play her season 1 character Shelby.
