‘How to Train Your Dragon 3’ Plot: Grown Up Hiccup, Jay Baruchel Could Be Replaced
It has been more than a year since we were amused of the characters like Hiccup and his dragon, Toothless. Once again, they will return to the third “How To Train Your Dragon” animated film. But we need to wait for another three years for this movie that is going to have some moving scenes. Read on for more details.
According to Latinos Health, “How To Train Your Dragon 3” will be similar to “Toy Story 3.” Dean DeBlois, the writer and director, said that the movie could have an emotionally satisfying ending with a tearjerking “Toy Story 3” plotline.
“We are gonna take the story to where the books begin, which is Hiccup as an adult reflecting back on a time where there were dragons, suggesting that the dragons will in some way go away. Why and could they come back and the mystery of what all that is will be saved for the actual story,” DeBlois said.
Christian Today reported that DeBlois wishes “How To Train Your Dragon 3” to feature a new side of Drago Bludvist, which was never emphasized in the last movies.
It is reportedly said that DeBlois is preparing the script in such a way that Toothless and the dragons depart from each other in the third sequel. He is also giving a touch of maturity to the characters. Meanwhile, Hiccup will be depicted as a full grown up character who would have all the abilities to stand on his own.
“How To Train Your Dragon” fans had superbly admired Jay Baruchel’s voice for young Hiccup. However, DeBlois could replace Baruchel if he fails to represent an older voice for grown up and matured Hiccup.
A rumor is in the air that DeBlois could split his storyline of “How To Train Your Dragon 3” into two. He said that it would open a door for “How To Train Your Dragon 4” in future. It is said that the third sequel is going to leave Hiccup with the lot more to say.
“How To Train Your Dragon 3,” which was previously announced for June 17, 2016, is rescheduled to hit the big screen on June 29, 2018.
