‘How To Train Your Dragon 3’ Updates: Dean DeBlois And Jay Baruchel Reveal Some Secrets
It is very early for DreamWorks to announce the official release date of “How to Train Your Dragon 3,” but lot of speculations have surfaced that the movie could be released in 2017. However, the latest update hinted by one of the actors of the third installment gives an idea that the upcoming movie is going to have lot of fun, charming and compelling for all age groups.
“The best thing about the first movie was that it’s fun, it’s really charming and incredibly compelling, but also unexpectedly heavy at parts. And so all those same things are the essence of the second one, but amped up. The stakes are higher. We knew that we were doing our Empire Strikes Back,” Jay Baruchel, the actor who would voice for Hiccup, said, as reported by Youth Health.
On the other hand, the writer and director Dean DeBlois has hinted that the fans and viewers of “How to Train Your Dragon” will probably have to say goodbye to Toothless and Hiccup. According to Moviepilot, in Cressida Cowel’s original books, the dragons do not have a happy ending. In the first book we find Hiccup recalling when humans and dragons had lived together and looking back on his own life. By the time he becomes an old man, the dragons are gone. But DeBlois’ plan is different.
DeBlois said that he has a plan to take the story of the upcoming “How to Train Your Dragon 3” to where the book actually starts. This is the time when the complete grown-up Hiccup is remembering the old days where there were dragons. But anyhow the dragons will be seen going away. However, DeBlois did not reveal that whether they would come back and all other mysteries surrounding it as he claimed that all these should be saved for the original story.
