Amy Schumer is a funny actor is nothing new. The stand-up comedian and actress whose upcoming movie “Trainwreck” is about a month away from release has already been in discussion as one of the most awaited summer romantic comedies. Read on for more details.

“Trainwreck” tells us the story of her character as someone who has a phobia of commitment. She believes in the wise words drilled by her father when she was young.

According to Yahoo! Movies, the new preview shows the character doing her best and that is partying, drinking, a little bit of merry-making and then moving on. In the start of the trailer her father constantly makes Amy and her on-screen sister repeat “Monogamy isn’t realistic!”It became a statement she adapts to literally. Describing herself as a modern chic, she does not believe in having a stable relationship and how she reacts  when she finally meets someone nice. In the trailer,  she is shown to be working for a men’s magazine. She is asked by her editor to do an interview with a sports doctor known to have treated some of the renowned athletes, one of them being LeBron James who has made an appearance in the film. After the interview, the two go for a drink and apparently come closer when Amy starts to freak out.

She is also shown to have a restricted relationship with her sister who is married to a nerd like character. Her sister actually seems happy in her marriage and for the same reason is the subject of Schumer’s mockery constantly.

“Trainwreck” will reportedly have a lot of small cameos from celebrities like Daniel Radcliffe, John Cena, Ezra Miller. The movie is written by Amy herself and comes from the Judd Apatow camp who is famous for making popular romantic comedies like “Knocked Up,” “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy”.

“Trainwreck” starring comedienne Amy Schumer will hit theaters on July 17, 2015.
