Two Night Stand: Synopsis and Trailer [WATCH VIDEO]
The world is never too old for the romantic comedy genre. Demarest Films and Entertainment One puts together a film that depicts the beauty and the ugly of post-breakup scenarios. “Two Night Stand” will star Miles Teller (“Spectacular Now“)and Analeigh Tipton (ABC’s “Manhattan Love Story“). It will premiere on Sept. 26, 2014. Read on to learn more about the synopsis of the upcoming romantic comedy film.
Popular understanding now enunciates the phrase “before love, after sex” to get over a past relationship. He or she must first cross the bridge of rebound sex or one-night stand. This is how romantic comedy movie “Two Night Stand” presents itself in its first trailer.
The movie tells the story of Megan (Tipton) who is going through the grieving process for her failed engagement. She was urged by her friend and roommate Faiza (“Gossip Girl” star Jessica Szor) and boyfriend Cedric (Scot Mescudi a.k.a Kid Cudi). She goes on to the final step of her mourning, which is indulging in a noncommittal act of one-night stand.
This is where she engages with Alec (Teller) in a quick and “lustful-no-passion” tryst. Here is where the movie’s tagline takes its play. In the trailer, Megan got so desperate to put the events of last night into her past, but she turns out to be a victim of nature’s match making. Unable to open the door and stuck within the confines of Alec’s apartment, the two ends up, against their will, spending their time together in getting to know each other much better.
According to Screen Rant, the upcoming romantic comedy was part of the Black List, an annually published survey of the top screenplays that are still in production. It was written by “Skin’s” (US version) Mark Hammer. It was executively produced by Beau Flyn (“Hercules“), Ruben Fleischer (“Zombieland”) and Same Englebardt (“Sin City: A Dame to Kill For“). The movie was also directed by the son of Mike Nichols, Max Nichols, and would serve as his directorial debut.
“Two Night Stand” will be hitting the theaters on Sept. 26, 2014. Continue to visit Movie News Guide (MNG) for the latest updates in the entertainment world.
