Tyler Perry to Appear in the Next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
Tyler Perry, who played the role of Admiral Barnett in the Star Trek series is going to reprise the role of villain for another time but this time it’s not Trek but the second franchise of Hollywood, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Tyler Perry is widely famous for portraying the role of sassy Madea and now he is gearing up for an altogether different look for the mad scientist Baxter Stockman in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2” which is being directed by David Green, who is famous for his 2014 film, “Earth to Echo”.
According to the comics, Stockman is one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He is a mad scientist who first creates a machine that destroys the rats and in the later series of the story, Stockman becomes a cyborg. With Tyler Perry in the cast, we are quite excited to see him creating Mousers. There are chances that the film will may recycle a storyline in which Shredder hires the mad scientist to use find and kill Splinter.
Tyler Perry is famous for his screen presence and being a writer, producer, director himself, Perry has started to work as a method actor in recent time. One such example of his latest film is “Gone Girl”. Additional to Tyler Perry, Stephen Amell has also joined the star cast and the director of the Transformers series, Michael Bay is producing the film along with Brad Fuller and Andrew Form. Now, since all the star cast is done, the production of the movie is scheduled to start later next month.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series is one of Paramount’s top priority at present as the first part of the series earned $191 million domestically only. There are ways to make a bad movie more respectable, ‘Let’s bring in Tyler Perry.’
