‘Under The Dome’ May Get Cancelled; Season 3 Ratings Hit Series Low

“Under The Dome” Season 3 premiered on June 25, 2015 and with only 5 episodes out, the series future is in jeopardy. Apparently, “Under The Dome” Season 3 has hit series low with decrease in half of the viewership as compared to its season 2.

CBS’s “Under The Dome” Season 3 is likely to face an axe and maybe cancelled if the viewership will not improve with the current episodes. Looks like, producer of the show already know that the show will get cancelled after season 3.


During San Diego Comic-Con 2015, Schlattmann said that they would be answering all the mystery questions by the end of the season. He also added that sometimes death in the series does not mean anything, but this time, each one will have a meaning.

That means, each death in “Under The Dome” Season 3 will mark the death of the whole series. “Under The Dome” Season 3 viewership decreased with each episode!

Episode 2 – “But I’m Not” – Viewers (in millions): 6.25
Episode 3 – “Redux” – Viewers (in millions): 5.28
Episode 4 – “The Kinship” – Viewers (in millions): 5.12
Episode 5 – “Alaska” – Viewers (in millions): 4.75

CBS’s “Under The Dome” Season 3 Episode 6 official synopsis hints at Big Jim being captured by Aktaion. Joe and Norrie will get in trouble by questioning city’s new rules. All residents will be seen standing against Joe and Norrie.

“Under The Dome” Season 3 Episode 6 “Caged” will be coming out on July 23, 2015. “Under The Dome” Season 3 is up for wraps. The series “Under The Dome” is based on Steven Spielberg’s best-selling novel of the same name.

Earlier, it was reported that “Under The Dome” had received a $5 million state grant from the launch of North Carolina Film and Entertainment Grant, and was expected to come up with more interesting and action-packed scenes by using the additional budget.
