The year 2015 could be considered to be a jam-packed year for upcoming films as studios are now gearing up to fully promote their cinematic contenders. Fox’s trailer for the “Fantastic Four” reboot has been released just recently, and before then, Marvel’s “Ant-Man” wowed everybody when they featured a different kind of Paul Rudd in the trailer. But enough with the superheroes, things will now be lighting up as Universal Studios’ promotions for the comedic, foul-mouthed fur-ball sequel, “Ted 2,” gears up as well, releasing the film’s first poster as well as announcing the release of its first trailer this week.

According to Screen Rant, the sequel for Seth MacFarlane’s furry and raunchy comedy, “Ted 2” will feature the comeback of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) and his notorious stuffed toy Ted. On this second act, they will be joined in by Morgan Freeman, who will play as Ted’s lawyer as he faces an unknown legal dilemma that the studio has yet to reveal. Such a big name for a notorious comedy movie, but it doesn’t stop there as “Taken 3” actor Liam Neeson will also be backing up Farlane in this project once more as he did in “A Million Ways to Die in the West” with the stunning Amanda Seyfried.
Meanwhile, Mila Kunis will not be reprising her role for the film. However, there were no officially issued reasons about it. The film’s official premise will be revealed together with the release of “Ted 2’s” official trailer later this week. There’s certainly something to look forward to for the sequel of the comedic success that managed to garner a grossing of $550 million in the Worldwide Box Office.
“Ted 2” opens in theaters on June 26, 2015. Stay tuned on Movie News Guide (MNG) this week for the release of its official trailer.
