‘The Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder’s Attempt To Save His Career? Nina Dobrev To Join ‘The Walking Dead?’
Hollywood’s famous actor, Ian Somerhalder is likely to be glad with the television shows, despite his wife “Sleepy Hollow” actress, Nikki Reed reportedly enthuses him to pursue films for some times. Now the rumor is in the air that the 37-year old is giving his effort to salvage his career. Continue reading to get an insight of it.
According to Inquisitr, Somerhalder had a role on ABC’s “Lost” before The CW Television Network’s “The Vampire Diaries.” Despite being killed off in the first two seasons, he returned for the final season in the flash-sideways clips. However, based on some reports, the show is actually not performing well that has made him to realize that he needs to quit it as early as possible.
We have already seen the demise of Damon and the trapping of his soul in the Phoenix Stone. That does not mean that he will remain gone. Based on the reports acquired from the insiders, the website states that Somerhalder is still carrying the show but not in an expected well position. When “The Vampire Diaries” returns the small screen in January 2016, Bonnie will reportedly release his soul from the stone and resurrect him.
As far as Nina Dobrev’s return is concerned, “The Vampire Diaries” showrunners have stopped teasing the idea of her come back as the actress already made it clear that she would never get back to the series.
“Many fans said they would stop watching without Dobrev there, since there would no longer be the Damon/Elena love storyline. Elena helped to bring out the good in Damon, and now he no longer seems as interesting for many.,” the website reported.
On the other hand, as claimed by Australian Network News, there is a rumor that the 26-year old Dobrev will be joining “The Walking Dead.” The rumor was created after the actress shared a snap of her with Norman Reedus on Instagram.
